Recorded and assembled over a period of 3 years between Bristol and Oxford, this album consists solely of feedback between various earbud headphones and the play head of a portable cassette recorder.

Each earbud was partially dismantled to allow its diaphragm to be pressed hard against the surface of the tape-head and moved across its surface. the resulting feedback was recorded acoustically by swinging the other earbud in front of a pair of close stereo microphones.
